School Holiday Sewing Workshop Thursday 11th July 9am - 3pm

Come and join Tracy from Holly View Creative for a day of sewing.

9am - 3pm Highbury Community House

110 Hinemoa St, Birkenhead, Auckland.

We will be making a dress! I will have a couple of patterns to choose from. Some sewing experience is an advantage but I do have some beginner projects to get you started.

All equipment and fabric provided, just bring lunch, a drink and your creativity!

Only 6 spaces.

You are very welcome to bring your own machine, but all equipment and fabric will be provided.  My ethos is sustainability so I source all my fabric second hand.  You are of course welcome to bring your own fabric.  If you do buy new fabric make sure that you wash it before bringing it to the workshop.  The fabric can shrink so best to preshrink before making something with it.

About ME.

I am a mum to an 11 year old girl and a 14 year old boy and live in Birkenhead.  I have been running two afterschool kids sewing classes on a Wednesday for the last couple of years and this year started an adult class on a Thursday morning.

When I'm not behind my sewing machine I am a play coach for Junky Monkeys.

I am also first aid qualified.
