Kids Sustainable Sewing Term 4 2024 Wednesday 3.30pm - 5pm

This 9 week class is suitable for age 8 + Primary School Age.  We will concentrate on a few basic projects, possibly with groups working on the same project to help with focus and learning the basic skills.  The earlier time will also mean the younger ones are not so tired after a busy day at school.

Tween / Teen Sustainable Sewing Term 4 2024 Wednesday 3.30pm - 5pm

This 9 week class would be a better environment for individual projects and more independent sewers in the intermediate and high school age group.  Those new to sewing in this age group very welcome.

Adult Sewing Class Term 4 2024 Thursdays  9.30am - 11.30am

This class is for adults from beginners to intermediate.  I can help you work on your own projects or I can provide some ideas.  This is a relaxed fun morning where you can make new friends and learn some new skills.  The last few terms we have been learning how to follow a paper pattern and all the ins and outs that involves.

In my own time I am also working on my dressmaking skills and I love to share what I have learnt with the class. I definitely don't know everything but I like to think I model what it means to be a life long learner; if I don't know something then I will go and find out. I love to create a fun learning environment, where we can share in each other's success but also support each other in the mistakes.  There is rather a lot of unpicking in sewing and that can be very frustrating.  I'm happy to support my class in this.
