Homeschool Sewing Class Term 4 Thursdays 1.15pm - 2.45pm 5 weeks

Come and join Tracy for a fun and creative sewing class.

Price adjusted for 5 weeks. $162.50

Starting Thursday 7th Nov (week 4) and running for 6 weeks, finishing 12th December.

Held in the Mokoia Room at Highbury Community House

110 Hinemoa St, Birkenhead, Auckland.

Beginners welcome and I have a range of projects to get you started on your sewing journey. For those with a bit more experience I will have a couple of easy dress patterns we can follow. This is a small group so plenty of attention.

All equipment and fabric provided, just bring a drink and your creativity!

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine.

Only 4 spaces, so a lovely small group.

My ethos is sustainability so I source all my fabric second hand.  You are of course welcome to bring your own fabric.  If you do buy new fabric make sure that you wash it before bringing it to the workshop.  The fabric can shrink so best to preshrink before making something with it.

I am a mum to an 12 year old girl and a 15 year old boy and live in Birkenhead.  My husband is a Kiwi and I grew up in the South of England.  New Zealand has been my home for 15 years now. I have been running two afterschool kids sewing classes on a Wednesday for the last couple of years and this year started an adult class on a Thursday morning.

Last year I ran a sewing class at the homeschool hub at the YMCA.

When I'm not behind my sewing machine I am a play coach for Junky Monkeys.

I am also first aid qualified.
